Just write interesting tweets that aren't spammy and make sure to unfollow any people your following. You just need to find your niches and follow the people interested in it.
The only people you should have following you, are people interested in your comments you are making. So, if you are not pushing product, you should be pushing "what your doing" & building a community. If your people aren't listening, you have bad following.
Pardon my ignorance but what is the maximum following limit on Twitter? Not sure if this helps: - reciprocity - useful/informative tweets - automatic updates from blogs
Maximum following limit is 2000 and then it increases as your followers increase. This is to prevent spam.

It's also illegal and pathetic, somebody spent hours to get that application fully working for people to use it, they probably live off the money they make from it, so you just steal that. You wouldn't steal a TV, so don't steal applications.
well you need to be real but there are also a few sites that will support you building a big followership
Well there are a few good programs you should know where to find em, since it's really hard to get targeted traffic, pm for more info
1. Do a keyword research 2. Follow them one by one 3. Wait for several days and use Twitter Karma to delete everyone who does not following you. You can mass follow, delete and block people with Twitter Karma, which would take you ages to do on Twitter itself. 4. Use TweetLater to follow people who following you automatically. 5. Find out which Tweet made you popular with Tweet Rank 6. Repeat 1-6 again This is the basic. Hope this help.
