how to get feed in wordpress

    I like a feed and want it in wordpress.

    I searched the wordpress admin panel and there is no option how to get a feed in it.

    I uploaded the plugin to wp-content
    plugins

    In the admin panel, in plugins I cant see any uploaded plugins.

    I am new to wordpress.

    If it's going in a widgetized sidebar, you don't need a plug-in. Wordpress comes with a built-in widget specifically for RSS Feeds.

    Go to Dashboard -> Presentation -> Widgets. If you scroll down, you should see an section titled, "RSS Feed Widgets."

    Set the number to the number of RSS Feed Widgets you want to include. Then drag one from the available widgets onto your sidebar. Set the basic options - title, feed URL, and # of links - and you're good to go.

    I dont want the rss feed as side I want it as post.
    putting it in widget is not useful.
