Probably your site will never get in, considering you submitted this to Google forum instead of the DMOZ forum you probably messed up your DMOZ submission also.

What percentage of sites that submit to DMOZ actually get in it? 1% or 2% maybe? Its almost pointless submitting.

I got mine in within a week, but then mine was a football club blog, so the editor picked it up fast enough.

For most topic not of high personal interest you will struggle to get in within a few months without help from an editor :()

It's tough to get submitted to DMOZ.
I'm still learning what works and what doesn't. Been trying for a couple years.

    - good quality site
    - submit in appropriate category
    - give a good title and description (clear, short, do not use ad-words, do not repeat word too often)
    - ...finally, you can contact the editor on that category ;p

use that trick..contact the editor for your category and give explanation to him/her..."or ask for opinions/advise"
remember pal ! DMOZ is human-edited directory of the web..
    good luck then :)
