    I'll never understand what the problem is with getting indexed. Should be a simple matter of submitting your sitemap and URL to Google. What's gives??

    First of all make your content unique and relevant to your site and get some backlinks of quality sites. Next submit the XML site map to Google. It'll take 4-5 days to index your site.

    It is made out to be a problem just so that frauds can sell search engine submission packages (Among other things) to gullible individuals to get their websites indexed fast and for unimaginative bloggers to write endless articles on how to index websites quickly.

    a good way is to make a free ebook that covers what you sell, eg: if you sell antivirus software do an ebook about how people can be safer online and the best ways to protect against virus, trojans and the like. then you release this ebook free to as many sites as you can, put the link in the root of the domain and this will also push your rankings up very quickly. if you change the version every month it will also get picked up every time :)
