How to get fake traffic? For improving alexa ranking

actually i don't want any solid traffic or something. i just want to improve my alexa ranking. i want my site under 25k and for that i want you people to help me where to get fake traffic?

how to get max page view, hits etc.

please tell me if there's any software to boost alexa ranking or if you used any software.

Ok,

You must have alexa toolbar installed.

Make an web page that refreshes every 5 seconds.
e.g. Meta http-equiv-refresh etc..

Next make a few Iframes that go to your web site
e.g. Iframe src="yoursite.com" etc.

Let it run for a while..

That's pretty much it. It worked last time I tried it.

I don't recommend doing this...

 

nfd, you forgot that you have to delete the cookie every time too, otherwise the result is not recorded

actually i want to show someone that i can do this. i am using now some softwares and know that by paying autosurf websites i can achieve this goal.

if you guys have any other a good way to improve just alexa ranking please let me know. if there's a paid option please also tell about that.

I don't recommend to do these things, try to increment your traffic by honest ways ...

 

i am not doing anything wrong. you guys are taking it in wrong way.

 

Why fake traffic to a site?
Makes no sense to me.
And there is more to alexa rankings than how many times fake traffic goes to the site.
If someone wants to see the traffic if you want to sell the site, you are up the creek as if you show them the traffic logs from your site, they will see it is all crap traffic.

Seems to me, for every good webmaster doing his best to get honest traffic, build up pr with google, build up alexa rankings, etc...
There is someone who wants a shortcut.

 

Whether you are trying to sell ads on your site or sell your site, as others have said - faking traffic to inflate Alexa rank will come back to bite you.

Be honest on the net because what goes around comes around.

 

you guys are just so crazy. i am here asking a valid question and if you have no answer then please go and browse some other threads. i need alexa ranking and that's it. i never said that i am selling any of my website or this and that.

i am just asking for the tricks to UP alexa ranking.

btw a good webmaster will never buy a site which is only UP in alexa ranking. there are so many other things which are more important than alexa ranking. if you don't know then i can tell you.

See, he does not get it, he wants a shortcut and he does not like the fact that we are telling him otherwise.

The sad part about it is that you can easily sell a crappy site on ebay by saying you have a high alexa ranking and also by linking to search engines with your URL as the query saying that you are listed #1.

People are crazy.

If you are going to sell, do the alexa the honest way. You'll get more out of it.

 

Getting under 25k isn't that easy from "fake" traffic.

 

Not only can alexa ranking be manipulated, but apparently so can one's inclusion on Alexa's related website lists. If your website is on Google's related website list, you would show up in the toolbar everytime someone who had it installed goes to Google. There may already be an exploit for it.

Alexa is misleading, but some sites and people still use it. So it looks as if you will be giving them misleading information about your site.

Also, if Alexa found out then I don't think they will be to happy that you are doing this.

I had a go trying to manipulating alexa rankings on a domain a while back. It was just a case of mocking up a simple countdown timer using javascript, that loaded a unique site url in an IE popup. This restarted the timer, and every 10 seconds the popup would refresh and load the next url.

Was getting daily rankings in the top 10,000 as i recall (after getting a couple of other people to run it in the background as well)...then i got bored of it, alexa means very little as far as i'm concerned.

 

I don't see the point in why people try to cheat things, do fraud, etc. What's the point, it just ruins things.

 

You can buy tools on Ebay for about $5 to fake your Alexa ranking, try doing some google searches for 'fake Alexa ranking' etc, though you'll probably have to pay a bit more.

I don't see why you'd do it though? Most webmasters know Alexa can be faked easily, I'd always insist on seeing server tats before buying ads and most other webmasters would. Apart from that there's not much to be gained by higher Alexa ranking.

 

write 10 good articles that diggers will digg to the front page. No faking required, just good old fashioned work

 

Yeah,

This would be an alright approach. Doing it this why will mean that you will still use alot of your bandwidth, but at least there is a change of you making some money back from the bandwidth that gets used as you will be getting proper visitors to your site and not automated robot traffic.
