Thanks for this information. Sometimes it is so hard to understand what people want to say and you just explain everything for me, concerning .edu links. But still there is one question. Is PR very important? Does it influence greatly your rankings?
Its better to have a link from a page site that ranks in google than a page that doesn't rank but is PR6. Thats the number 1 rule of getting links.
some obvious tips, but udeful for newbies. inurl command for google can also be used to find good edu sites.
