In that case - try this :p

    1. Click the Start menu button on the Windows taskbar.
    2. Click Run... on this menu.
    3. If the computer is holding a current IP address, type 'cmd' (without the quotes) in the text box that appears. A command prompt window appears on the screen.
    4. Type 'ipconfig' (without the quotes) to view the status of the computer's IP address(es).
    5. If the computer is holding a current IP address, type 'ipconfig /release' to let go of the address.
    6. Type 'ipconfig /renew' to obtain a new IP address (whether or not the computer is holding a current address).

no most of the ISP in India gives Static Ips ... Dynamic ips are those which change everytime you reconnect your internet

There are still a lot of ISP's providing you with dynamic ip, but you can not change it ! I mean - it changes 1 time per day or month ..

You dont need to buy a dynamic IP. Its free, because all ISP in India provide dynamic IP. If you want a dedicated IP, than you need to buy, and will cost you around Rs. 2k per month with UL 256 Kbps speed.

Also, you dont need to buy DSL, you need to take a broadband internet connection which is based on DSL technology. Major ISP of India like BSNL, MTNL and Airtel provide DSL technology based connection.

Once I called Airtel, two dedicated IP, with one UL 256 kbps connection will cost around Rs. 2K per month. That time I was paying Rs. 999/- for a UL 256 Kbps connection on dynamic ip.
