    Check those promotions from big registers, sometimes they give out domains for free, but you need a Credit card.

    You can also try name.com or namecheap.com. I find their user interface simple and easy to navigate thus making it easier for newbies to register domain names.

    Other than joining content or promotion, i dont think there a way to get a domain beside spending money to buy one unless u want free domain

    godaddy is the choice of the town for purchasing domain names..
    open it and read details..

    I agree...I use namecheap.com for several domains and haven't had a problem yet. With a coupon code I believe it costs $8.81 for a year.

    open an account in any registrar like godaddy name.com namecheap etc ( you can use credit card if u have or just look few indian registrar who accept cash in INR ) then search the domain name , if it available register it :)

    then buy a web hosting and develop it and make money :p

    you can get your domain with godaddy.com
    1:you must select yourdomian.com
    2:regsister with godaddy.com
    3: you will check your bill with visa,master,or paypal .

    Hey you must check out name.com as they are providing free Google app package and whois guard.

    Very easy to use with super fine support system.Read their FAQ.You will know a lot of things.
