Sorry, I'm still new to hubpages. My hubpages currently has a rank of 50. I saw another hubpage with a rank of 70, and the links were dofollow. Just wondering if anyone has any tips on what I can add or do to my hubpages page to get its ranking high enough so that the links on my page will be dofollow? I currently have: 2 x content capsules 1 x picture Going to add a YouTube video soon.. Anyone who's familiar with hubpages able to help me out? Thanks
I really like Hubpages for their simple and nice design, but because you need a score of 70+ to make your links dofollow, that really pisses me off. I would actually like to know how to increase hub rank as well...
Unique content, add images, only one link, relevant title, a lot of tags (about 10), traffic (social bookmark it), good rates, having more good hubpages (create a few hubpages like this)... Things like that
First of all the thread is started in the wrong category. Please put a notice to be removed to the appropriate category, which is link development. You can of course get a link from Hubpages hub. It's a dofollow link by default. I have quite a few of them. Though people say they get nofollow attribute I found it is not the case.
not true! hubpages links are nofollow by default. you need to have your personal hubscore of 75+ for the links to turn dofollow. individual hubs can score lower than that but your personal overall score needs to be 75+
Oh that's a new information to me. I didn't know that. Yes, I have a hubscore of about 85 or so. That's why I got dofollow links. Thanks for the information.
Damn. 3-4 of my hubs have been put offline. Reasons: Just proves how much of a hubnoob I am. Anyone have any advice for me in this situation? I think I'm going to tone down a bit on the number of links I have, lol, but just wondering, how many links maximum is a good amount? (to avoid getting flagged, etc.) But yes! I'm almost getting there. My hubscore is currently 65. Almost at 75. Should be getting some dofollow love soon.
Hi, I have 13 thread in Hubpage. I started to create original content, 2 links and after that i bookmark them. Very Easy. all of them are now dofollow. why dont you try squidoo.
i ran into this situation while doing few hubs for a client. if you have too many affiliate links or external links, then it will be flagged as such. what you need to do is to edit the hubs that were flagged as overly promotional and remove all external links except 2 link and then submit them for a review. once they go throu manual editorial review, they will be approved again for publication
to improve your HubScore you must: 1. Become fan of 20-30 reliable hub users (about 10-15 users) 2. Write comments on other hubs (about 10-15 relevant comments) 3. Post messages on hubpages forum (about 10-15 relevant posts) 4. Do not post more than to 2 links pointing to 1 domain 5. Do not copy-paste content, mix, add, rewrite Using this scheme you can become 75 HubScored user in just 1 day. After you become 75 all your links become dofollow
LOL, guyz, Do you really think that hubpages will dofollow links pointing to yours spammy trash back-links cans? Use your brain - this is the best way to receive HQ 1-way back links
My links are finally dofollow. Thanks guys, my personal hubscore is now 84 and I fixed my hubs that were "overly promotional" - they are fine now. Thanks again!
