Stupid me, uploaded articles and put them in the wrong folder. Then google indexed them within 24 hours.

Now I put up the correct articles and took down all the wrong. Google has re-cached my site but the articles are still indexed.

So my question is how can I get these articles de-indexed or what can I do to fix this?

    Thanks

log into webmaster tools and click on tools->remove urls. Submit the urls you want removed. Normally they are removed in a few days. That's the fastest way to do it.

you also can use .htaccess to redirect to all the old pages to your new related pages.
