How to get copyrighted ebook?

    + WHen I done writing an ebook and sell it. How to get the content copyrighted to me?

    Just say "you cant copy blah blah...this is my work"
    Or I will have to go through a very long and stressful registration with my government, hire lawers, then submit info to department which control it, wait for signature etc... that verify i'm the owner and author of the ebook.

    And then i bring that signed document to a department to register for copyrighted protection etc...

    IS that long, or just says "the content is copyrighted, you cant copy" that's enough?

    + What if someone violate the copyright rule, they copy, and list on their site, or they modify some parts to make it looks a little different.

    Since it's only 5$ ebook, and that guy is not in my country. it's not worth the lawer fee...

    What can I do this case.

    + What if my ebook is familiar to someone's ebook. I worked myself, didn't copy.

    Example: My ebook says about "How to sell old item on ebay"
    1) register ebook accout
    2) List item
    3) collect payment and send item.

    Other guy wrote an ebook which is nearly the same with mine, 3 steps too.

    I worked, my ebook is written by me 100%, but he did the same, his ebook is his work too. But our ebooks talk about 1 thing, with 1 form, nearly the same about content and information in the book. Is there any copyrighted issue with this? or we are independent in this case?

    can anyone help pls?

    i have talked to lawer but i dont believe, i think they are trying to make $ from me.

    and i asked my friends who write ebook, they say it's simple,

    I am worry about that, because i'm in ebook writing industry

    Hi,

    if you write an ebook, you got the copyright. However, you won't be able to protect your copyright if someone wants to publish it for free after buying from you. Even the big players of the content industry cannot do anything, see torrent, etc

    To be honest with you, an ebook covering something as vague as "How to sell an old item on eBay" is going to be published 10,000 times over.

    Try narrowing something down and write about it. This is way to vague to even think someone had copied you
