How to get Coppermine Photo Gallery Seo Friendly

I use the al so populare Coppermine Photo Gallery as a gallery script but its not really seo friendly.

My knowless of modwrite is limited and i was wondering if any one got some advice for me on how to get the urls seo friendly with out haveing to change to much on the code of the gallery itselfe

i believe their is a mod_rewrite add-on for coppermine but i believe when i tried it was still in beta stage and was buggy.

I used the default plugin, installed it, and now can't access any part of the gallery, and have no idea how to undo whatever I did by clicking to install it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Just delete .htaccess file from root of your gallery and you will be fine. If you want, i can explain you how to play with this rewrite mod...

 

Even the URL rewrite plug-in doesn't make it search engine friendly.
There are a lot of duplicate content in coppermine. The same image is displayed with different urls.
And the metatags are not optimized.
