Call them. Show them a site with 100,000's of impressions in a high value niche.

seriously, i dont think YPN is accepting any application if you are not a fortune 500 or something kind of website :)

yahoo an bing must work together to steal some publishers from google.

    good luck yahoo and bing

Its Yahoo's discretion. They accept very few sites/blogs..... You cant really lure them by showing that your blog has thousands of visitors....

And you would be wrong to believe this. Yahoo is a business. If you can show them money they'll take it plain and simple.

Yahoo has been known to actually contact Successful Adsense publishers and try and get them to run YPN.

Follow the money. It's always about the money. The problem is most people applying don't have anything of real value to offer them.

This is how I get accepted into most affiliate programs:

Here is my site, I have this much traffic, I promote what you sell... how do I sign up?

And I almost never get a bad reply to this method. Good Luck.

I hope that YPN will open their doors to international publishers once the "merger" between Bing and Yahoo is complete.

yes once the deal is finished it may be made international.

But after seeing microsoft tie up with openx, i feel that either yahoo or microsoft will be making an international publisher program.

I think yahoo will accept anyone request. They are far behind from adsense.

Yahoo seems to be very strict about who they deal with in general. One of the companies I work with was trying to do a bizdev deal (for a pretty popular site) and they wouldn't even return calls/emails. I think something's off over there...

Have you applied? Are you in the United States? Do you have a working web site up and running?

One of the companies that I used to work with applied. They had over 150k PVs per month and a niche market that paid decently. I'm not talking YPN though, they were looking for news distribution, and had no luck. So, I'm just saying that Yahoo in general seems a bit strict compared to Google.

I would say that YPN is tough to get accepted rather than adsense....and adsense is tough to get accepted than ever before.Adbrite, bidvertiser are great alternatives to these.Go for it guys
