My site has been up for near a month and googled has indexed around 15 pages from the site. (makefreecash see sig). Is there anyway to make them index more pages fast. Submitted to 100s of directories but none seem to be have found yet . Also it is a UK site but once searched in UK google nothing. I think the main problem is its not hosted in the UK.
Its a foreign host and its a .net name so nothing to indicate its a UK site. Change your host to a UK one if you want it to show up in "uk sites only" in google.co.uk.
Done that from the very start http://makefreecash.net/sitemap.xml Changing the host is not really an option.
You need to change your host or change your domain name, if you've already established your site then changing the domain isnt an option. Other than that there isnt any way to do it unfortunately.
it would help you more if you also remove the ?sid=b878e7dc90d3c09f99de2177b4b99cd0 from the links, also maybe making your URLs all static and trying to get deep links lots of them social bookmarking websites can help with the deep linking
Could I buy the .co.uk and just have that as a reidrection and only get that single page listed in uk? Thanks everyone so far.
you can get any site listed in any search engine, country doesnt matter I have my site listed in all of googles and get traffic from them all along with others.
If you use google.co.uk and select "uk sites only" then your site isnt going to get in unless its got a UK host, or a UK domain name. Maybe a huge amount of UK links would get it in as well, but other than that its going to be excluded.
My thinking is totally different to others becuase I am not agree with posted message. You want only two things - Create google sitemap, Host your website on UK server If you want rank in google.co.uk then you want many backlinks on .co.uk sites. By this method your can get good rank in google.co.uk If you want more suggestion then PM me. Thanks, PS
Thanks everyone for the remarks about getting into google uk. Any idea about getting many more pages indexed. Any better sitemap maker?
hey bencallis, i too am having the same problem. from what i read, it seems only sitemaps help to get your deep content indexed.
