Hello world! I am new to clickbank. I want to promote my future product (it's going to be awesome, for sure) and I'm curios how can I get affiliates to promote my product. Do I need some history based on my name on Clickbank, or I can just shoot the product on Clickbank and wait for the comissions to come in? Really curios.
Big companies have affiliate program managers who hunt down affiliates and get them to promote their product.
Yes! It is! You don't need to do anything! Though, you will get more affiliates if you have a higher payout rate, but all-the-same, go with your budgets. You'll get a few I assure you of it. You can add your clickbank to a sub-domain of your website to get more affiliates, but that's not required. Though, it can help.
So basicaly I pay the 50 dollars fee to Clickbank and then I wait for the affiliates to come in? Bigger the comission, more affiliates, right? I'm thinking on an extensive ecourse for about 70-80 dollars with 75% comission.
Yes, but keep within your budget. You'll get them anyhow, but the more you pay, the more you get. As they say, it's time or money, your choice. I'm going to post a bit more after I make a new account (forgot my old one...), so trying to keep my posts here active and meaningful.
If you could tell me (though it is your "future" product), what category this would go in? That'd be helpful, since you cast see "overall" highest sale.
Dear Farasens, If you have a good product with high commissions you are likely to make sales. But if you want to stand above the crowd and to have more affiliates coming your way, read on: 1.Learn from the best. Look for the highest selling products in your relevant category. Buy their product. Study it. Look at their sales page, thank you page, affiliate resource page. Emulate their techniques. It's worth spending some money and getting decent graphics for the sales page, thank you page etc. 2.Make sure your affiliate resource page is well laid out with professional banners, emails, tweets etc. Make a few instructional videos for the affiliates. The easier you make the affiliate's life, the more farther he'll go to promote you. 3.Offer a quality up-sell, preferably residual. Affiliates like products with residual income. 4.You can have a few products like that which, combine, will give you a decent monthly income 5.If you want to take it to the next level, approach JVs. Go to JVNotify. Look for product owners with best sellers on CB. They would have massive lists. Contact the 'Big Guys' and give them an offer they can't refuse. Like 100% commision. It will pay off. Good luck
If you want good affiliates (the number of affiliates isnt all that important) then you need to make sure your sales page is top notch; an affiliate that knows what they are doing will not just promote any old product and the sales page can sway the decision to promote it or not. You should also make sure you have a good affiliate resources section - banners, articles, keywords all help. More importantly, do not ask your affiliates to sign up to an email list - this just suggests you are only interested in selling to them and most will bail. If you have any contacts that have an existing list, you might want to approach them for a JV - they advertise your product to their list, but what are you going to give back? Of course, its all irrelevant if you dont have a good product out there in the first place.
Yes. I have to agree with this entirely. And have a link to your subdomain (or in some cases a totally new domain) in a corner, or at the bottom where the pages are indexed. Affiliates know where to look. You don't need a huge pop-up saying "AFFILIATE MY PRODUCT!" Rather, do "BUY MY PRODUCT!" But you have to make your page good, with free banners and e-mails, make it kinda like a sales page.
