Hello. This is probably an Adwords newbie question that's asked all the time, but I couldn't find it by looking thru this forum. Is there any way to get my ad to display above the main SERP results as it does for some results, such as this one: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dedicated+servers I have a very niche term(product name), and I want to put my advertisement above the main results to make people more likely to go directly to my site instead of thru to the main results(affiliates-- Jagger likes them better than me). Thanks. -- Derek
There's no way to ensure your ad is at the top of the serps vs the right. Google doesn't display Adwords ads above the results all the time - sometimes they are only to the right. This is slightly related and may be of some interest to you: How do I get my ad in the top position everytime Edit: Rob always makes me look like I like to write
It's just that I hate to write. You have more patience and are much more helpful than I. I should just see if you're online before I even step into the AW forum.
Im no adwords expert, but in my case, i think whoever has the highest cpc will be at the top and not to the right, otherwise why when i slightly drop my cpc i am at top right and competition on top when i was at top, it must be cpc.
There's no one on top for the keywords in question. There's me on the right, and an ebay ad below me on the right... -- Derek
