    I've heard that if you send your site to too much directory it will become snaboxed by google.. care to explain?

    I don't think .
    As I know a sandboxed website is a site that is in "test period" at google and maybe if he got too much spam,unrelated links in a short period of time .

    When submitting to directories it takes some time (1,2,3 weeks , 1,2,3 ..months even years ) until links will be approved , so I think submitting to many
    directories will not hurt you .
