Hello, I've written an ebook about finding best-selling product ideas recently and have launched the website and sales letter for it. To establish more trust in my prospects' minds and to show them the information they'll discover is really valuable, I want to have some raving testimonials from leading Internet marketing experts on my website - just like many other infoproduct publishers have. How should I approach an Internet marketing guru and ask him to review my ebook and write a testimonial for it? What's the best way in your opinion? Any do's and don't's? All suggestions and comments are welcome!
The best advice I can give is be direct, make everything easy for them. Don't send them on a trail of having to track down information. More importantly, be honest. Tell them exactly why you want them to review your product. Don't give made up stories or try and flatter them too much. Simply say you value their opinion and would be delighted to send them a free copy / sample / whatever to get their feedback on. Has always worked well for me.
Thank you, sal3m. I've learned from experinece that some gurus accept to review other people's products and give them a testimonial more easily than others. Could you tell me which experts have you worked with and have found them more open to this? Thank you.
