    This is kind messed up.

    Getting an infraction for posting this thread and saying it belongs to Search Engine Optimization.

    I don't think Pagerank has much to do with Search Engine Optimization.

    It is everything to do with Google. It is unique and is only offered by Google.

    And that is where I posted it, hoping to get some nice comments.

    I don't see it offered by any search engines on the market, so I am having some trouble understanding why this thread should belong in Search Engine Optimization.

    Furthermore, why I should get an infraction.

    If this thread belongs in Search Engine Optimization, then so does every single thread which announces a Pagerank Update.

    So nothing against the moderator who decided to give me an infraction and move my thread, I just think u ought to see the bigger picture first.

    Err no....this was probably before you were on the internet...Yahoo at one time did have a PR10 and Google had a PR9.....

    Things did happen online prior to 2005 ;)

    First of all the 'pr10' itself does nothing for you. To gain it you would have to be a site such as Adobe which offers a plugin/tool used by millions of sites with a linkback or a tool like wikipedia which is also used by millions and linked to by millions or be the owner of a site that sells a product like beer which is used by millions. Either way it involves millions and starting small and growing slowly.
