How can I make my site at least a PR1? I see that all these brand new sites are like PR2, PR3, etc. But mine is still a PR0! I don't understand why? What do I have to do so it becomes at least a PR1? My site is : www.webtalkforums.net Thanks
Pagerank is all about links. How many links do you have going to your site? Visible page rank has been changing about ever three or four months (with one recent exception). A new site may miss obtaining pagerank the first update after it goes live. Keep improving your site and getting links to it. Good luck.
Actually speaking, if your site is good enough you'll automatically gets links in blogs/forums which is growing a lot these days.
Links, links and links are all it takes to get a pagerank. And wait for the next google update! If you still don't make it, there is a possiblity that your site is banned. By the way, how old is your site? Last PR update was 1week back
So just typing out my link on other sites will help my PR? Also, my site is about 1 week old! So this www.webtalkforums.net Should help my PR? Or does it have to be actually linked? Also, how do I improve my rep on the forums??? Can you please rate my posts? Thanks
Google updates backlinks and pagerank every 3 months, and suprisingly Google made an update of its pagerank the other day. Just keep on building link. Keep it up.
I also know that PR is just about links but the last PR update was it a link stuff? Because many new websites have got really high PR some have jumped from 0 to 5! 2 of my blogs got PR5, one of them has only one post with 0 backlinks... how I got PR5
Every 3 months? damn! I had a PR3, i know its low, but now i have a PR2!? All i've done is add content! lol damn google! So now i've been trying to build backlinks - do i have to wait 3 months to see if its paied off? cheers.
Yeah, I'm trying to trade links now with lots of people ! Addtionally, what should I do to get my reputation up?
Your situation is certainly abnormal in grand scheme of things. Reports from last backlink update do not follow what I have come to think of the norm.
My suggestion is do 1 way link building for your site. At least 30 or 50 links secure with mix pr value. And after next Google update your website defiantly got at least pr2..... Best of luck, Rock
1. you have a nice website ... will be very easy to gain PR 2. you may create your own directories to collect helpful URL info
I find that search engines do pick up postings from Digital Point so it may help if you add your URL and site name to your signature . In fact, you could create your own backlinks by being active and constructive on message boards here and in yours. Once your links appear on enough places, you should expect an upgrade in pagerank the next time google does the updates. For the time being, just check the number of back links you have. Of course when you are doing your postings, make sure that you do not break any rules or skirting at danger while you are at it.
This is what I saw on your site when I visited There seems to have been a problem with the database. Please try again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser. Code (markup): BTW, getting a PR of 1 is not that much difficult provided you have few incoming links to your site from some higher PR pages.. As suggested by The Rock , build some one way links and I wish you should get better than even 2 PR.
