How to get a free domain name absolutely without using a CC

    Hi,

    I found a way to get an absolutely free domain name without using a real CC. You all know Register.com has a promo running which gives you a free domain name for 1 year, but it requires a CC. You can easily use a fake CC or a VCC to pass that step :D I haven't registered any but successfully added the CC.

    I think this is a loophole in register.com's promo[/B]. It might be illegal to do this. Only for educational purpose

    It might actually check the fake cc when you go to check out and also to do with the vcc. they cost like $5 so why not just pay a extra 2 $'s at godaddy and get one you know wont be taken away for frauding them

    As I said, I'm not forcing/encouraging anybody to do this. But just a heads up regarding the loophole ;) I know some people have done this (with fake CC). That's why I posted here. I don't know if people at Register.com are aware of this or not.
