THere are few ways you can build site popular:
    1. Make less different forums and create community from one forum and creating new forums when need occurs.
    2. Buy paid posters to post on your forum and make it look active
    3. Create a site with useful content to get more visitors
    4. Find some extraordinary news that could attract some people

Hi - You have to promote and perhaps pay for a little advertising. That's what I generally do :)

    Good Luck with it!

You should definately fill it up with more content. Either post yourself under different user names or hire posters but an empty forum looks terrible. Starting with less forums would make this a lot easier.

    - Offer rewards for posting
    - Purchase paid posting (I reccommend forumwizards.com)
    - Tell people at forums that relate to yours about your form
    - Mabye adwords or some other sort of advertising
    - Build a mini-website that relates to your topic to get more visitors via people looking at your site.

I think you and some friends of your should atleast make 2 - 3 threads in that sections where it says Never

Visitors will not like that message and might not register on your forums.

I couldn't get the link to work. I'm having problems getting people to sign up to my forum but the folks who have joined haved posted a lot. Sometimes I think a sort of forum exchange site would be a good idea, along the lines of "you join my forum and I'll join yours." Does anyone know of such an arrangement? Would it be a good idea for Digital Point do you think?
