How to get a .edu domain?

    I would like to get a .edu domain for a medical term.
    How can I do this? Where do you go to get .edu who qualifies? and who makes the judgement call?

    If you want to register an .edu domain, you must provide a list of certifications.
    They may also call you to identify you.
    If you don't have such certifications, how can you provide it ?

    You have to be registered as a recognized school with the US Dept of Education.
