How to get a CPC cost of 5 cents per click on Adword?

I have a new product with a new site. The target is pretty wide, any adult can buy my product. I do believe in a strategy of exposure. The more visitors I will get, the more sale I will make. Can I get an average of 5 cents a click for my campaign? If I could make 1 sales per 200 Clicks, this will cost me this way 10$ cost of sales and this will allow me to do a lot more on Adword again...

Did you guys had any chance to explore this strategy of very wide range of keywords for a cheap exposure?

Should I go content and search ad or search results only?

    Any Advise is welcome.

You can get 0.05 , but depending on the keyword. You may try other networks like adbrite, adengage as well. They deliver some low cpc ads too.

I'm in the same context! A conversion rate of 1 sales every 200 clicks, or 0.5% seems good to me. But I have been told here that's not realistic... I do believe in exposure too.

I have no idea if you can reach 5 cents a clicks easily. I do have more that 100,000 keywords related to my audience, theses terms don't have any advertisers when I searched them so I don't know if this mean I can get them for 5 cents...

5 cents needs to be my goal too. I was planning 7 cents but 5 cents will be awesome. I need to generate a minimum of 280 sales per month so this will be equal to 56,000 clicks at 5 cents and 0.5% conversion rate...

Good luck with your project and product.

Is anybody outhere who runs 5 cents campaign?

my advice would be to pick out some
    targeted high volume keywords that
you can get a 3-6 position on for
.05c a click and work your campaign
CTR up as high as possible.

    BUT, instead of sending everyone
to a sales page like it sounds like you
want to do, i'd send it to a optin page
that captures the prospects email and
THEN sends them to the sales page.

then you have a huge prospect list
that you can follow up with and turn
    that pathetic .5% conversion rate
into a better one like 1-3% conversion
    to sale.

i wouldn't spend money on adwords without
capturing as many double optin emails
    as i could.
