Well I have had my site for about 2 months now. I get quite a lot of google hits, and I have a lot of sites linking to me. However my PR is 0? I don't understand why because for example when you google 'thick as a thief' which is a new popular movie. My site is ranked number 1.
It depends on a number of things. If the sites linking to you have no PR then you wont get any from them. If pages you link from have PR then a bit of that will be sent to you and it will mount up.
If you're doing well in serps and getting visitors, why give PR a second thought? The PageRank you can see lags behind the PR google is using, anyway.
Yea true Im still getting visitors, but if my page rank was higher than surely I would get even more hits And I have at least 10 links to me from PR 2-3 sites
Many of my websites are having PR less than 3 but I getting good traffic (including those with 0 PR). Why bother with PR? I do agree that you need high PR if you want to sell spaces for ads on your website/blog.
Your blog is not sufficiently old to have been covered by a major update of google. Next update is due probably by the end of March and it is then..that you would be able to see any upgradation, if any. Regards, RightMan
To get better PR, you need dofollow backlink. Get more high PR strong backlink then your PR will increase
Keep in mind that PR is not the factor that affects ranking You can still rank in different keywords even if you have PR 0. In order to increase your page rank, work harder in building links to your site. Links, Links, and Links! that's it!
For personal monetizing traffic is more important but some advertising company want more PR to advertise
First, you need to frequently submit your sitemap to google. Second, you must create a lot of backlink.Use linkbuildingdirect.com Third, promote your blog to mybloglog and blogcatalog. Fourth, use entrecard.com Final, submit your blog feed to search engine feed.
Do not let yourself get to overly concerned with PR. People can get really frustrated with it, and it really means nothing. Focus on traffic and a good community, PR will come.
Adhering to update your Web site, and adhere to original articles. Then I think you will have a high value PR
