I've actually experienced this.. by looking through my backlinks at Yahoo! and seeing that I'm linked up on everypage of different blogs. It's a great idea.

Some blog posts carry very high pagerank and link authority with them, as a result it will be passed to your site assuming the comments aren't nofollow.

 

Sure, blog commenting has been one of my link building strategies for some time. Seems to be working for me, and I don't really care whether the blog is Do or No Follow.

That's bad commenting etiquette in the world of blogging. I know most people do it but just becareful because a lot of webmasters hate this.

 

They might, but it doesn't make a difference until your work is done, if you're new, its the best way to get quick backlinks and serps

 

LoL. If you`re going to use your keywords in the blog comments, you might as well get banned. The easiest way to build 15K backl-links is to use some software like Traffic Kahuma or Easy Blog Finder.. which I use.. search for the dofollow blogs (high page rank) in your niche...

Make between 50 - 100 comments everyday.. don`t try to spam thou.

You gain 15K back-links in less than 4 months..

Other strategies - Link exchanges, forums posts, social bookmarking ...

 

Eh. My tip is about getting 3k+ backlinks from 10 comments instead of making 3k comments

I think you would be surprised... I've found quite a few out there. I, myself, have Top Commentators enabled (though its not through wordpress - I just wrote my own version and called it "Top Karma"). Its a great way to entice readers to contribute.

 

I have tried this before but the problem with getting that much back link on a short time is that they are only for a short period. I got 10,000+ back link in just 2 weeks but I notice that it drop to 5,000+ in just a short period. Such a waste of time.

I've noticed this too!!! It was way back during my college days that I've noticed backlinks multiplying quadruple time because of commenting! XD

Thanks esidyo to discuss about this absolutely blog commenting is a good way to linkback but I thing minded when you post the comment make sure the blog work do follow because only do follow blog are indexing in Google which help you to increase PR also.
