I'm a bit stumped. I was at the pressreleasemonkey page ( http://www.pressreleasemonkey.com/2006/04/13/5238-unique-visitors-on-wednesday-launch-day/ ) and read about how they are pr7 and got 5238 unique hits on opening day. What would they have done to achive this great accomplishment? From everything I've read, I always thought new sites are sandboxed.
A PR7 and 5238 visitors per day don't mean good SERPs rankings. They could have spent a budget on traditional advertising or a banner placement campaign. I doubt they're ranking for many competitive terms.
The sandbox has nothing to do with a PR of a website -- only their position in the SERPS. It's just a bloody good advertising campaign that they would've spent a lot of money on.
This is how they did it. They are top markerters and have a VERY large email subscriber base, and with some other JV marketers with VERY large email subscriber base, its very easy to do. now i site back and wait... with my pr's & articles submitted i cant wait for the backlinks.. and hopefully more traffic
im always getting a pr 7 so does this tool http://www.seochat.com/?go=1&option...tp://www.pressreleasemonkey.com/&submit=Check and this one http://www.rustybrick.com/pagerank-...ill be 7, an increase of 0.00%.
