My new site was launched two weeks ago. My target is to get 500 ip/day visitors. But now, I can only get ~100 ip per day. By any means, could it possible to get 500 in the coming 2 weeks?
My initial visits came from some kind of bulk posts in Digg. Then my site got banned in Digg. I submit my site to directories, to social bookmarking sites. And now seems what I could do is just waiting....... And I have no budget for advertising my site. Any other ideas?
Submit some links to stumbleupon.com, join topsites (depending on niche), add your website to your signature in forums, create new content for low competition keywords (and submit to article directories), the possibilities are really endless..
500/ip? Thats a new way to put it, for me at least... try making interesting articles and releasing them, get them dugg and yourset.
Get banned by others... Just kidding. There are other websites like digg, submit to them, write a good article and submit it to article directories, build back links and search engine traffic will also come, BTW, forum posting and signature links also help. Bye
Forum posting is a great marketing technique, but it must be done subtly otherwise you're definitely going to get trolled for spam. The key is to contribute useful and relevant material that is helpful. Do not become an annoyance. Personally I have been doing a lot of forum promotion in the past few days and saw my traffic jump to well over 200 unique visitors per day. Considering I was only getting around 20 to 40 visits per day before this, I have been pleasantly surprised to say the least.
Yes, forum signatures can be beneficial if done correctly. No spamming is of the utmost importance there...
