Lo Love this quot. Hahahaha.... hard work & good knowledge & experience in Amazon affiliate. Work hard sis..
I read about this a year or so ago, and it seems the ones who do well run their own specialty blog sites about a topic (cameras, etc) and have good SEO for their articles, which are riddled with links to different products. The key I see is to be passionate about the content you're creating, and consistently maintain it for a couple years. Since most of my blogs lasted weeks, maybe a couple months, I realized this wasn't for me.
i made a website named hypermarket dot us, i get products from amazon and post them there trough api, i made 35 bucs in 2 moths with 30-50 unique visitors per day, but i moved it on a .com and google penalised me(i guess bad configurations on redirects ), now i returned back on .us and waiting google to reconsider the site. perhaps if you have more visitors than i had, you can get a lot of moneys from comissions
In order to make money from Amazon is it good enough to just get people click through with good content and links and let them do their thing sales wise, or is it more important to have reviews/sales pitches of high end products in order to generate decent comission?
if you think mathematically build 1 site, and see the result over a month if that site already give you $2 a day this will give you $60 a month and then build another using similar methods build another until you have 17 sites now you are done
I have set up a review site.Today I got 5000 clicks and not one order. When I first set it up using the Amasite plugin I had 7 orders in the first 100 visitors and then it stopped. I now have 15,000 visitors and the number still sits at 7 orders. So my clicks have reached 5000 a day and nothing? Very discouraging
What kind of traffic are you getting @Kathy? It sounds like either the traffic is not targeted or relevant to your site.. also check that your affiliate links are working properly
Can some body suggest me some tips? After three years I got only one sale this month and never interested in promoting this amazon products. The product was listed in my blog as a review, but that was long back and never updated the blog regularly. I want to work from now onwards on this blog and the niche is Garden and farming. Thanks
1. Get Best Seller with high discount product. 2. Find customer type who like the product (like: Gender, age, country/town from) 3. create FB ads to promot your blog.
Yes, you can do it like i've done before, I installed the FSB Script on my domain and added some products in the month of January, February, March 2013. Did SEO and backlinking to the site and got to the #1 PAGE of Google but I still was trying to get some more traffic to my site. Then I added some HOT & NEW Products to it from Amazon.com. Suddenly, I received a HUGE TRAFFIC SURGE to my store. The thing here is simple: as you can see, as soon as a new product is released online, it gets huge traffic and searches, as lots of people will be searching for that product online. How do these people know that the product is released? The answer is simple: big companies and Branded products are advertised on a HIGH END ADVERTISING PLATFORM, which involves: TV ADS NEWSPAPER ADS PRESS RELEASES MOUTH TO MOUTH MARKETINGLOCAL PUBLICITY THROUGH DIFFERENT CHANNELS INTERNET (SOCIAL MARKETING, ARTICLES, BLOGS...) RADIO ADS and all other forms of Advertisements what we see in our daily life.
Write something what have you good knowledge. Then share it in your favorite platform. Remamber it that it is most important to get visitor. Add your affiliate link.
Excellent post! This is exactly how we break things down before we do ANYTHING. We actually have a self-made Excel file for this very thing. Sometimes just this little worksheet alone will scream, "Oh yeah, we can do this easily!" or "Are you nuts?!". Our Amazon "sheet" is unique because they have 10 zillion products.. this can be good or bad, depending on your patience level. In my opinion, it all goes back to what we call rule #1, our particular niche. We see some great opportunities there but they don't fit our model, etc. In any case, it's not advisable to go into something without seeing the roadmap first, unless you like disappointment. It's not our style anyway.
I'm interested in your methods too. I have an affiliate clone site I bought on WF. I haven't made any traffic or sales though.
Thanks for this post. I think you're right on It's easier said than done but it's great broken down like that.
