Well Currently there are 2 ways to do this,

    1. Purchase links on different sites
    2. Sponsor Links on WP themes

Purchasing links can be very expensive and if you want to get 100+ one way back links on all different unique IP's you may have to invest any where between $1000-10,000 USD period. Sure there are tons of link building programs out there who says "Get 100 links for just $10 per month" But hec i tried all those sites and there all turned out to be auto generated sites which has no real value in terms of SEO, and you will never get the top quality or the unique IP part in most of these one way link building schemes.

But when it comes to sponsoring wp themes, it's a proven and one of the most effective link building strategies up to date. If you do a small research on the web and just check out all those high ranking , profit earning web sites on the web you will notice something common among all these sites, which is, that they have lot of one way incoming links through real and constantly updating blog sites, and at 1st i thought they just pay those blogs and purchase links, but soon i realize that i was wrong. And then i came to understand that these guys are heavily engage in sponsored wordpress themes, Imagine you sponsor a link spot on a WP theme, and if its a good looking and properly functioning theme, thousands of people going to download it and use it on their blogs, and can you just imagine the number of back links you can get this way ? So that's the power of this amazing one way link building strategy. It really works.

Why you should sponsor WP themes..??

    • Guaranteed back links not in hundreds but in thousands
    • The most easiest and cost effective way to acquire top quality one way back links
    • High valued backlinks from many (1000+) unique different IP's
    • Just sit and watch the way your search engine rankings improves
    • Increase your Page Rank
    • Drive more traffic to your websites
    • Quality back links + Higher Search engine Rankings + Tons of targeted traffic = More sales leads
    • No complicated coding or designing work
    • No time consuming promotion work
    • You just sponsor few links and let the theme it self do the magic for you

If you need to know more about this one way link building technique, feel free to ask me :)

Yeah, that technique is good, but I always wondering what if that WP theme don't be sussces enough and get some small number of downloads. That mean waste of money ?
Cause most of WP theme creators who sale sponsor links just want to make money, maybe he don't care what will happen with WP theme after that and will have lot of downloads.

Do you have some advice for me , how to chose right WP theme and creators ?

    Best,
    Stefan

It's a good technique, MAYBE. It really just sounds like you're trying to promote your service though.
I mean, free themes have become a saturated "free market" because of so many webmasters buying premium themes and submitting them as free themes just to gain backlinks...you really have to have an extraordinary theme to find great success out of the investment.

Really though, only relevant links really make a major impact, so if blogs about porn etc are linking to your car wash site, the link is useless.

Well its an investment like buying shares, how can you know whether the share price will stay up or it will go down after you invest money..? Like wise there's a risk involved in this technique as well, there's always a risk involved in everything we do. So what we can do is, to minimize the risk.

But then again even if it's a crappy theme still it will get 100+ downloads on avg, But you have be patient coz the itz a time consuming process but with guaranteed results

So how can you minimize the risk when it comes to buying sponsorships..?

    1. You can tell by the look of the theme whether it will be a success or endup as a a failure

    2. You can promote the theme on your end too, by submitting it to tth theme sites and forums and spreading the word abt your sponsored theme

    3. People like clean beautiful themes which catch their eyes, So you can always sponsor links on pretty good looking themes than in crappy one's

    4. The most important fact is that you should be patient, as you cannot expect people to download the theme in large numbers, simply becoz its a process that takes time, but in some cases you will get massive downloads during the 1st month along depending on the popularity of the theme

    5. Finally its all about price, There are people who design a quick theme or just copy someone else's a theme and change the header and sell it for peanuts, so you cannot expect a good return on investments on such cheap themes which sells for few bucks. Most of them are kids who wants to make a quick buck and $50.00 is like magic for them. So if you gonna sponsor WP themes do not be stingy choose a good designer as there are plenty of them here on DP, and Sponsor. A Good sponsorship will always cost Above $65 per link but looking at the long term out come, itz absolutely nothing

this strategy is all right but I have my hesitations because I know most bloggers that have any html skill erase the footer links.

And if you think that encrypting the footer works I can tell you from personal experience that it doesn't. Any way of getting around this?

True, but at the same time if someone erase the copyright and footer links, that's a violation of copyrights of the theme owner and if get caught he/she can prosecute the user for unauthorized use of intellectual property, And some times you can track the themes to make sure whether anyone is using them without footer links.

Another solution to this issue is that, There's no point of using the theme if it goes BONKERS after removing the footer code..? :p So unless a pro webmaster with php/css knowledge no body can fix a disfigured theme. And so there's no point of using such a theme

I would rather purchase well researched links than sponsor themes.Purchased links on sponsored themes can be easily detected, unlike a well-placed link. We all know that Google doesn't like buying (or selling) links.

Well if you have a BIG budget then ofcourse you can, but the thing is not every one is rich like you

How do you define the word "Well Placed" ? And if that's the case then you can forget abt the whole link building process and go back to the stone age, where you will have to do a pre historic Reciprocal link exchange or a add your link to a hardly visible directory page so on.

Best method out of all link building is "Link Baiting" but there's no guarantee in it and it will take a life time. In some cases.

And if someone doesn't like the word SPONSORING, we can always find another word like "Partnering" "Designer Links" Or even contributers. :D

Soo Anyone wanna Contribute ..? :p

    1. Find a website/blog related to yours.
    2. Determine if you can buy a link from said site/blog.
    3. Search for their best page. Do this by hand and use your instincts or run it thru here: http://www.seomoz.org/toolbox/strongest
    4. Check PR, IBLs, etc of desired page.
    5. Check if your target keywords are mentioned on page. (If not then you have to negotiate adding a paragraph or sentence with the owner.)
    6. Send a personalized email to the owner asking if he would be interested. Ask for rates as well.

This is hard work, and would cost more, but would pay-off more than sponsoring a theme.

Search engines are stupid, but not that stupid. It's like saying rename your "Links" page to "Resources." :D
