You can try a combination of things-start a blog with adds and join a few paid survey company's You take surveys and get paid then post about it on your blog with a link to that survey company. People join under you and you make a little more. You now are making money three different ways and $10 is quite easy.

More like 15-20 dollars a day. Or else he should be really cheap. If he writes good enough then 5 dollars is average price on here. You can also hire someone to write articles for you for cheap and then submit them to AC. Heck you can even hire someone to write articles cheap of decent quality and then sell your article writing service here as a middleman.
While I agree that money can be made from AC... the game has changed and they don't pay up front as easily as they once did, now prone more to pay per views. Still they are an option to be considered and given some effort you could do much better than $10 a day.
