I started a similar blog on Blogger.com in a different niche. How do you add an adsense channel on Blogger.com ?

 

I relly like this :

 

by creating a new channel first on adsense, and create new adsense contents again on adsense and add them to the channel. After that you just need to copy paste the java script into the html/javascript widget in blogger.


If you take a look at the blog, you'll notice that i've been changing some things. I rewrote the content of the page and customized the template a bit. Been studying some new techniques that i'd like to apply on this project. More later!

So how are the results doing for today?

I have been trying to do the things that you suggest and I can only say that social bookmarking is really a TIRING process. I guess it doesn't help that I have like zero followers and friends on most of these social bookmark sites.

So far you've been able to read what I've done, and as I explained I managed to get around $2 in a short amount of time which is a good start. A get around 120-200 views a day at the moment.

Now during the last 2 days I kinda gave my blog a second life because I wasn't happy at all with the content and structure. During the last 2 days I also learned a couple of new techniques that i'm currently testing out. Because I really want to increase my traffic and I want to rank on page one, so far now i'm not gonna focus on the amount I get a day cuz that will remain the same as long as I don't increase my traffic and PR.

So the advice that I can give you to do is (and this is what i've been doing):

- Make sure to write ORIGINAL content on your blog. Google doesn't like copied content and won't rank you high in most of the cases.

- Try to get as many pages as possible. Google loves a lot of content. I got 3 pages so far, i'm gonna try to make 7 other pages in the next days. But keep in mind: use original content.

- Now look at my blog on brainwave synchronization, as you can see I've been linking a lot of my keywords to my own blog pages. This is very important, because you create first of all backlinks and this will help you to rank higher. So if you have 10 pages with 4 links on each page = 40 extra easy backlinks. PLUS it highlights your keywords and google loves this. But don't push it! don't link too many times and most important of all try to get many keywords on your content pages, but don't exaggerate, otherwise google will see this as spam.

- Go to technorati and claim yourself a blog. (more about this later)

- Write articles! Use the content of your main page to write an article. I know this is a pain in the ass but if you want to get high class backlinks you'll have to write articles. Took a look at my article, study my structure and use of keywords: http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=2172138

I'll explain later how to write a good article structure, it's not that difficult (and my main language is not even english). But to start with study mine. What you'll need to do after that is rewriting your article. (i'll get back to that later as well cuz it can be done easier and faster than you think.)

So first try to start writing a basic article, stick with this at the moment.

- get yourself a feedburner account for your blog: http://feeds.feedburner.com/brainwaveblog (for example)

add it on your blog and submit your RSS link it at:
feedage.com, feedraider.com, feedfury.com, goldenfeed.com, feedest.com, technorati (if you do have an account), icerocket, feedagg,...


But please make sure your content is original, otherwise you won't get far guys.
