SEnuke has a social bookmark autoposter (but it's a very expensive tool)

    DAY 4 final stats:
    google adsense stats - page impressions: 85 and 5 clicks (= $2.46)
google analytics stats: 66 visits, 66 absolute unique visitors, 126 pageviews, 89% new visitors

conclusion: found out that my video didn't appear anymore on page 2 of different keywords which sucks! So i'm gonna have to work on this again. That's probably also a reason why my visits dropped. But surprisingly on the other hand, I made with 5 clicks $2.46!

Not a bad post but a major flaw is hosting the blog on a 3rd party site thereby increasing their traffic, PageRank and authority.

    Always self host.......

    Hi youproblog,

Can you explain what you mean by this sentence:
"I bookmark EVERY PAGE from all my websites and blogs. I ping all of them as well. I try to social bookmark 1 url to 50 websites. As many urls I can a day by using multiple accounts etc..."

Anyway, I am really learning a lot from you. Thanks for sharing how you do it.

I checked the videos on his website, thats why I asked him.
You should do the same, some pretty interesting social marketing on his problog.
Sorry if it sounded out of context for you!

@As many urls I can a day by using multiple accounts etc... Well, I guess you must have many accounts then, because im pretty sure if I sumbit 700 pages, il get banned... :p

one thing thought. You should only ping your blog once a post is done. Also only ping your homepage and the bot will crawl to your site. Dont ping every single post, that is bad and will get you banned frm ping sites.

Also ping only once every 24 hrs. I believe I am right here :)

I ping each link only once a day indeed. Kinda missphrased that. You can end up getting banned indeed, that is why I suggest you to use multiple accounts. If you ping your site daily, don't forget to change the content of your blog.

With Godaddy you might have only purchased the domain name and might need to purchase a hosting account as well.

Their sales process and management is Web 1.0

Not user friendly and simply cluttered. Bob is so worried about being on TV he doesn't realize his site is junk to be nice.

no no I bought their $60 hosting deal a couple of months ago, their customer service just gave me some links to read (which I found before contacting them), so yeah I'm kinda screwed since my knowledge in advanced webhosting is poor... for domains I use a different company that I really like!

It will be better if you start with a little tutorial showing how to find and select a niche to use ..

Sure, if that would help people, why not. It's not the easiest thing to do but the most crucial. I'll try to make some time for this, probably making a video about it.

Honestly, I'm not so good at that, that's why I asked ..

I usually build general websites (I'm good at it) .. I have a niche website but in a competitive field (So the situation is different)

What I want to learn is finding small niches, easy to rank high for some keywords and at the same time driving a little traffic ...

And Yes, you are right, this is the most crucial step ..

Great thread, keep it up :) Rep+

Well obviously staying up to date with today's technology and news is very important. Most successful people out there make tons of money cuz they are the first to find out about new niches. So yeah reading a lot is crucial.

I'd strongly suggest not to go for highly competitive niches because the only way to succeed is by heavy advertising (which is painful for your wallet) and a lot of time.

Some tips: look ahead of your time, a mean, try to start something about easter 2010, summer holidays 2010, upcoming movies in 2010, new developments,... for example. They are short lived niches but can produce high profits on a short time.

I haven't been able to test this out, but apparently "preorders" products from amazon work well as well to start new effective niches.

If you have a new project idea, send me your keywords, I'll analyse it for you if you want to. Keep in mind of the competition tho.
