How to generate USA traffic to a proxy?

    Hi guys,

I'm seeking the advice of someone that has run proxys before. I am going to try to start up a few more proxys and trying to get more US visitors. I have a small network that has been doing very well but no earnings due to not many US visitors.

Is there any way to advertise to target US citizens? I advertised with toplist submission and it worked very well (for foreign countries) hah. Any tips on how to start a proxy and target US citizens instead of china and india?

I haven't run a proxy site myself but I think I know why you're having this problem.

The target demographic for proxy sites are people from less developed countries. People use proxies to unlock certain features of websites that would normally be unavailable to them due to their location. You know this, because your website's name is "unblock that website".

I can understand a bangladeshi user trying to cheat paypal by using your proxy, I understand other third world country users trying to view youtube videos with geo restrictions, I can also understand users trying to complete surveys on RPGs or PTC sites using a US proxy like yours is.

What I don't understand is why would someone from the US want to use a proxy also from the US.

indeed, you are right about everything here. Except proxys are also targeting kids in schools, colleges, and maybe even work. proxys are very popular in schools. Kids use them to bypass filters that school administrators set. Even if I could target THEM it would be nicer to know that a kid is using my site to play games rather then someone from a forign country using my site for illegal purposes. I see many people out there with proxys that are actually making good money and have way less views then I do. I'm just trying to figure out how they do it.

    Thanks for the input
