    Google has declared that Meta tags are not that much important now. So it will be better for you to hire a professional SEO company and ask them to work for you.

    Also your website should be having good content with keywords. Also setup a blog section in your website If it doesn't have.

    As you told that your website is clothing based so first you need to optimize client's review. Don't leave each client without giving fruitful reviews. Reviews will raise brand prestige and help to increase organic traffic. Make content based SEO strategy and embed with each product. Try to provide every information about each product. Keep refer facility for regular visitors and invite them to refer your website's name to their mutual friends.

    2. The design of the website should be user friendly with a good theme and easily navigating pages.
    3. Having high quality unique content in the website helps in user engagement.
    4. Make sure that your website has less loading time. It is recommended to have loading time less than 5 seconds.
    5. Keyword research for an e-commerce website should be done in depth as it directly effects the search engine rankings.
    6. The website should have a proper OnPage Optimization Strategy by optimizing meta-tags for each page, headers, relevant content,image alt tags, adding images and videos.
    7. Creating a sitemap for the website and making sure that the robot.txt file does not block any target pages on search engines.
    8. Engaging on Social Media Websites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram

I would like to add that duplicate content can be an issue on shopping sites that can have hundreds of pages of similar text. As a rule of thumb, every product page and description should be unique to each other, and should come with at least a few hundred words of text if you want the best results for ranking them in search engines.

    You must silo your website properly and choose which products you have are gonna sell the most and do SEO on that particular silo for example:
    Black T-Shirt
    >>Large
    >>>> brand xxxxx
    >>>>brand yyyy
    >> Medium
    >> Small

    if black T-shirt is a profitable keyword then you have to build links to the black t-shirt page.... or anywhere below that.

    If you create effective silo link juice will revolve around that silo and it will rank easier......
