How To Generate A List Of Ebay Auctions To Display On My Website?

    Hi,

I've joined up to the Ebay Partner Network but I'm not too sure how to display live auctions on my website...

I go to the RSS Feed Generator section, I click the search with my affiliate info filled in, then apparently there should be an orange RSS feed below the search which is what I need (here are the instructions from the ebay website):

Any idea why the RSS feed button isn't being displayed?

    Thanks for any help

I am not sure how to solve your issue. Try to post in ebay forum and see if anyone can help.

Personally, I used Build a Niche Store (BANS) to build eBay affiliate websites.
If you are a non techcie u may consider give it a go.

How do you do BANS? Which website do you use?

    Thanks

You have to buy the BANS license, was $99 when I brought it a while back, not sure how much it costs now though.

Try my free TWP Auctions script. It's $ZERO :D

eBay are trialling a crappy new design that doesn't show the rss button on advanced search results pages. Search for the 'opt out' button (probably on their main page), which will take you back to the old design.

    Thanks a lot Kerosene.

However I'm having a few problems with the script - I can't get the auctions to display (although I'm not sure if PHP files are supported by my web hosting package).

Basically I purchased a website recently and it already had a page which contained lots of ebay auctions. I was hoping I could just edit the code to include my affiliate link. The page is at http://www.chihuahua-information.com/chihuahua-apparel.htm

I don't suppose anyone knows how they are currently displaying those ebay auctions? Would it be through the ebay partner network page?

    Thanks for any more help

You won't be able to run TWP Auctions unless your pages are PHP. Try creating a page with a php extension (e.g page.php) and see if it works. Most hosts support PHP.

You could easily replace the current eBay auction JavaScript with an ePN editor kit widget containing your ePN affiliate ID. Just log into your ePN account and look at the editor kit, or their widgets. You won't get any SEO benefit from using JS, but at least it's something.

    Hello

I installed TWP Auctions two days before and have to say many thanks to Kerosene for this great work. The scripts run so well on my site, it is very easy to install even though I do not know much about site building. Thanks again!

Thanks :D Most of the time the only comments I get regarding TWP Auctions are "I can't get it working!" etc ... I guess if it works first time, then there's really no reason for people to contact me. It's nice to get some positive feedback and to know that it IS actually working for people! :)

It's rather simple to do: put up some slide show in Power Point and convert to video file :)
