Be really nice to people. If users see your posted information useful, they may give you GREEN (good) rep. However if they disapprove, they can give you RED (negative) rep.
for Reputation:just post useful content that people likes and help them for itradar: you need to buy or sell anything.
Post useful stuff to help people out & hopefully someone will give you some green rep. But many people here don't give out much rep at all, so it will take quite a while to gain rep points.
First be sure you know the difference between rep and itraders. You are right about it being hard for a newbie. This is because there are so many scammers now that no one trust anyone. You have to be here a while and contribute something that is helpful to people. Your posts will reflect why you are here and what your character is like. Joining a webmasters forum just to exchange currency puts up a red flag that you may be a scammer. To get reputation, your primary posting should not be all in General Chat. Unless the person giving you green rep there has a full bar of reputation, the reputation will be gray and not count toward building rep. Try to contribute webmaster stuff to the forum which is what the forum was intended for and you will see your rep build.
