Im only 12 and my dad lets me use his adsense account and earn money... Kinda like pocket money! I need to get more money on my site www.globalsurfing.co.uk does anyone know how could i!? Lots of help i would really appreciate! Thanks
Great little website -- I'm a surfer as well Have your dad set up an Amazon.com affiliate account. Review surf movies (documentaries as well as fictional ones) and sell the movie through the link! You can generate good income this way, better than AdSense. Try learning to silk screen. For less than $50 you can set up a silk screen station, and make your own shirts to sell (your cost per shirt is under $3). Sell them cheap, say $8-$10 plus shipping, and you can generate very good income for very little work.
I checked out a couple of articles and it looks like most of them are stolen from other websites such as surfermag.com and others. Stealing content from other websites is illegal.
Less than $50 i can make my own shirts? can you elaborate al il more i signed up I hate the $25 tshirts by zazzle
I noticed from your website that you are hiring. Do you offer benefits such as health insurance? By the way, Moderator has only one "e". Definitely, start writing original articles, and as mentioned above, use them to gain affiliate sales. If you are going to use articles you didn't write, there are legal ways to do that, such as articles from article directories, creative commons lisensed articles, and the Public Domain (stuff so old, the copyright has expired- probably no use for this site). I see one of your photos has a watermark across it. That probably means you aren't authorised to use it. there are free sources of Photos as well, such as Stock XChange and others. If printing shirts is too much hassle for you, you can always try selling your site's shirts through Cafe Press, but your profit will be less. Best luck,
I'll try to find some decent DIY silk screen sites to post for those interested. Silk screening takes a little bit to get right -- once you're good at it, you can make 50 shirts in an hour ($2 per shit, $1 for ink and supplies). When I was younger I had days that I made $500 for 2 hours of work (profit!).
Yes, but copyright laws forbid you to take over complete articles from someone else's website unless the author of the article gives you the permission to do so.
Having worked in the t-shirt printing business for nearly a year (the store is greekgear.com they move a lot of T's) I will tell you that working out of your house printing t-shirts is not an easy way to go. While it can be done, it is often messy and if done well, costs more than 50 bucks to get into. You need a machine which again, decent ones cost money, you also have to buy ink, squeegies, screens, an exposure machine etc. Basically, its not easy, and if you arent dedicated its probably not worth it.
I can't believe your dad let his 12-year old son go all free willy with his Adsense account. Man must really don't care about getting banned. I wouldn't trust my 12-year old nephew to wash my car, much less play around with my Adsense account so he can earn "pockety money".
WeRASkitzzo: As an adult, I woulnd't silk screen for a business. As a teenager I made a LOT of money silkscreening for kids my age. The quality of the impression was unimportant (in fact, the punk rock ragged look sold more). I'd make parodies of everything I could think of, reused screens that were WAY past their prime, and had days I'd make $100-$200 per hour We're talking kids here, not adults who can do better things with their time.
How much traffic does your site get? I find that my CTR maxes out at around 5%. It is hard to get much higher than that. Once you max out you need more traffic.
