I have my email registered with amazon associates, but have not been able to log into that email account for about 2-3 years. You can add another authorized email to your account but it needs permission from the original email, which I can not access. So how can I tell them that I can no longer access my old email account and need to use a new one?
I changed mine not long ago because I no longer had access to the old email account. What you need to do is setup a new user with new email address to your account, once this new email account is verified you can then delete the old email address.
Yeah, but I have to verify the new user. And to do that I have to go into my email account and click the link to say they can be approved. Here is the problem because I can not get into my old email account with the old ISP. SO how can I verify my second email address if I can not get into my old email account?
I didn't need to do that. I change it about 2 weeks ago and I don't have access to my old account. Log into your associates account and go to 'account settings' then 'Manage account users and select your primary e-mail address' then add new user email account. An email will get sent to your new user email account, click on the confirmation button and then follow the links to set up a new user account, just use your own details and your new email address. Once this is done you will get a confirmation code. Log back into your associates account (using your old email address) and under 'Manage account users and select your primary e-mail address' you can then confirm the new user. Once confirmed you can delete your old email account. Try it, it works - I did a dummy test while writing this post!!
He what do you know Amazon got back to me. Used this linkk (http://www.amazon.com/your-account), and changed it there. Then when I went into amazon associates it was changed!
