How to format CJ links for AdWords?

    Hi,

I promote a few CJ programs through my sites, but I would like to expand and start promoting with PPC (AdWords).

My problem is that I can't find out how to format my CJ links so they end up looking like normal HTML links.

Do you choose Get HTML when you create your CJ links for AdWords? And which options do you choose to get a normal HTML link?

I have tried a lot of combinations, but there is always this 1x1 pixel image that CJ insists must be placed next to the normal HTML link :(

    Thanks, Mads

for ppc it is simpler to go to your advertiser, click get links, click keyword link, and you should end up with something like http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2186982-10414792 which should work ok. This becomes the destination page link while resolved link becomes the display url

you can edit out your banner or other links to achieve the same but this way is quicker.

    no pixels here! good luck

Thank you, but which of your websites do you then choose? A random one?

I can only make the keyword link point to the main page of the program. Isn't it possible to make keyword links directly to specific product pages?

yes it is "legal" to use adwords for promoting CJ merchants. Lots of people do it.

Just set up any url with cj and then just use that for PPC so you know where your sales come from. different urls for different campaigns will assist your tracking.

Deep linking is available with some advertisers, try going to one of their banner links and if see if there is a "destination URL" space there . If there is you put your desired url in there and cj will then update your link for you to use.

Make sure that you only use the unresolved link as your "destination url" in adwords (or anywhere else for that matter) otherwise cj cannot track it.

Thanks, but how do I deeplink keyword links?

The banner links have this annoying 1x1 pixel image, so I can't use those.

as i said in the post above - go to get links, banner and then put in your destination url in the destination url field if deep linking is allowed, not all advertisers allow deep linkinking

Deep linking for the banner links is allowed for my favorite advertiser, but I cannot find any deep linking options for the keyword links.

is this thread explaining... the following

That display url and destination URL be of different site..??

    Like for example:
    Display URL: xyz.com
    Destination URL: anrdoezrs.net/click-2186982-10414792
Which itself redirects to advertiser website...

    Help me understand this...

no it is not, but thanks

I said two posts ago to go to a banners link page not keywords and look for a field that allows you to insert a url, in that space put in your chosen url and then cj will update your banner url, you then extract from the banner url just your link ie http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-2186982-10362934 leave all the other stuff behind it just relates to showing a banner which you do not need for an adwords ad you just need the code to put in the destination url.

if on the get banners link page there is no facility to insert a new url then that advertiser does not allow deep linking.
