how to forbid google from updating my site listing

    Hello, is there any way to block google grom visiting my pages that i have already listed - but something that will not result in deleting my google those pages?

    I can see pages from 2002 or even older (i mean they were last accessed in 2002 by google) and after that they were deleted from server but google doesnt know about this... (it is still listed somewhere in google)

    So how to do this?

    Not possible... Google doesn't want to keep pages that don't exist anymore.

    but i can see a lot of pages that are not-existant for more than 2 years in google. how is that possible?

    Some would say to use an .htaccess and deny the bot. I have tested this and he passes by it like nothing and digs away. So my experience is that the bots do as they please.

    Hey, I referred to Google bot as a He. Many say Google is a girl:) I only wonder....
