How to flip a website.

I read your article and the first thing I guess you do not know about the people of DP is they want quality not just a thrown together WordPress site with a forum with no users to it. Also it seems like this guide is a day guide to flipping meaning it should take less than 24 hours to flip. Remember its about the quality. At least hold onto the site for a day or two before trying to sell it. Last of all you forgot about promotion of the site. You need to draw some visitors!

 

You tried to cover too broad of a topic in too short of an article.

 

Oh, good point. In my experiences with flipping websites adding a forum and writing a unique post, and adding a good theme ads a lot of value. Differing opinions I guess. But I am going to guess you have more experience than me so, I will take what you said to heart. Thanks, Zach

But in this case it is too short.

For example, you advise them to come to DP and buy a site. But a very large percentage, more than 50%, maybe 90%, of the sites for sale here are true garbage. And some of them are so illegal it is almost funny. Your readers, being beginners and ignorant of these potential legal issues and of what is valuable in a website are not going to have the knowledge to make good investments. Yet you give them not even a hint of what to look out for, how to avoid being scammed or how to identify a good flipping candidate.

In this case too brief of an explanation could very well lead someone to lose their money and potentially to have legal issues that far outweigh any potential profit that they may have made.

 

website flipping is an often overlooked market, for beginners i recommend buying a catchy domain and building a site with basic SEO. Less risk, all you can really lose is time, and a couple of dollars for the domain. Good learning experience though.

After awhile your going to be getting pretty fast at getting sites up, targeting keywords and writing articles.

The great thing about website flipping is that they are no rules! So if you make money after spending 1/2 hour creating it . . more power to you!

wow, thanks for your opinion. As a matter of fact I have flipped numerous sites. Also, you are probably not a beginner and that is why you are saying that.

 

Well I think it's a nice short article for newbies. For newbies it's ok. It gives some good tips.

 

That is who thew article is meant for, so I am happy to hear that it works for beginners.

 

for me it is very easy ....here's the step , get the templates , get the unique content , buy a domain and then flip it ..i have done many times fliping blogs and website ...

 

I agree, it is pretty simple.

 

Flipping small websites don't earn much profit but there are websites that can earn u $100s of profits. But u need to invest more in d purchase.
