Hi, Is there any option to get the "keywords" from "not provided" data in the Google analytics advanced filter setting. Please refer the below article, http://blog.kissmetrics.com/unlock-keyword-not-provided/ As per the article "method 1" we have tried to fix "not provide" data from google analytics, as per this method, we can find the "landing page" instead of "search term". If anybody know about this, please help me fix it out. Advanced thanks Michael
I personally think this hack is a bit overkill. I would just click on the not provided and then add a secondary dimension and set it as landing page. This will give the same result no?
Everyone is getting "not provided" it is a result of search done in SSL. There is no way to avoid it, just try to understand how to get some data from these visits that can help you understand what visitors were searching for, for example by knowing what page they have landed on. you can check out this article to understand more about not provided reason http://searchengineland.com/google-to-begin-encrypting-searches-outbound-clicks-by-default-97435
oh no! Have you thought wrong about it. protection is not provided access google. If the visitor is logged into a Google Account to access your existing website is not provided. http://internetmarketingseolanhdong.blogspot.com/ are hoping to build support everyone thanks all
Hi Friends, Still I can't fix this problem for my website. So kindly send me brief details on how to fix "not provided" in GA? Thanks, Manish
If a user is logged into a Google product (such as Gmail or any Google Account) when searching, their search is conducted over SSL. As such, the referral data relating to that search is hidden. In your Analytics account, head to Admin, then Profiles. Click the name of the profile you want to work with, and select the Filters tab. Create a new filter in your Analytics account:
There is no "fix" for this, as the data is simply not provided to Analytics users. Ways to make educated guesses, yes, but no direct answers.
