How to fix double permalink

Hi,

Site software: prestashop

Few days before i manage to redirect my site from http:// www.site.com to htpp:// site.com through Cpanel, also ensure to keep wildcard redirect.

But now i notice some weird issue, When i type http:// site .com/37-product it shows me same link after enter but if i type or redirect from any other website this : http:// www. site .com/37-product then it shows link : http:// site.com / category.php?id_category=37

I am worried due to this Google will index double link and may reduce my ranking.

Please suggest us how can we fix this and how badly this can affect our site if the same continue .

Hi There, Did you try re configuring the redirect rules from prestashop admin panel ? I have read on other forums that re configuring them from admin panel might fix it.

Note: Please make sure to take a backup for .htaccess file under the account.

 

Could you please guide us from where can we find this configure option in prestashop.

Login to the prestashop as admin. It should be available under Preferences. The option is SEO & URL's.
