Well everyone knows copyscape and its premium membership but I was wondering if there is another way of finding whether an article is plagiarized or not and that too Free with unlimited usage. May be a website or some software. (Don't say google!) I am fine if I don't get the same level of precision as copyscape (which is expected) as long as it works.
There is no way of being truly sure, even Copyscape can only tell you if it has been plagiarised from the web. The only absolute defence against plagiarism is to write the article yourself, from scratch - secure in the knowledge that it is not plagiarised from another source, either hard copy or electronic.
