Hello All, A quick question. Is there a way to find out exactly what product that your visitors win on eBay commissions? Talking about the CJ affiliate program of course, I can't seem to figure it out...
go to run reports, go to by event date, click on day (s) of interest, then go to the bottom right of the screen and download file as excel. the ebay item # is the second string in column P enter this into ebay et voila! or you can download as csv and go to websiteprofessionals.com and it is all done automatically.
Great tool, it's always interesting to check and see some of the random things you get affiliate credit for.
Great tool, but unfortunately it's not always a good idea to upload your sales data to a third party. In addition on a site that has no clear privacy policy or disclosures. Just keep that in mind.
Another option is to use http://www.what-did-they-buy.com. Simply upload your CJ report and it then steps through them line by line extracting the item and looking it up on the relevant Ebay site. Up to 250 items can be looked up at a time and the results are presented in a handy list with links to each item as well as useful statistics on which of your sites made the most sales, how much they earned, whether you had any pending or active registrations etc. As an Ebay affiliate myself I put the site together in order to find out which items visitors to my site where buying. Once I analysed my CJ reports I was surprised how off-topic some of the sales were ! Oh, and to address the privacy issues, none of the data uploaded is stored for any longer than necessary to look up the items on the relevant ebay site.
Here's another eBay CJ reporting tool that lets you export your results to excel for future reference: http://www.ezaffiliatewebsitebuilder.com/CJ-Report-Tool.php
