How to find website placement in Google search for particular keywords

I have a bunch of keywords. And I am looking for something easy which will tell me that XYZ keyword if searched, my site would be displayed on this page.

Does anything tells me like this?

For ex: I searched "carmenelectra", and I could find my site on 2nd page of google search. But I want to check that out for keywords like "carmen", "electra" and "carmen electra" for the site http://carmenelectra.cjb.net .. how to do that?

Any help to discuss about any tools existing or some way to find this out!!

I tried googlerankings on my site just now using the keywords that ranks my site in the top 10 but it didn't find it.

The only thing I can think is when I do a search on google and find my site, the url shows the link from my isp (which is where I host my site) but when you click on it it goes to my website. Anyone know what's up with that?

My tool (in sig) can monitor placement over time, so you only have to add the 5* same URLs, and the 5* different search terms once, then you can login in future to see your latest positions. You still have to add them individually first time around, but you only have to do it once!

DP's tool sounds suitable as well - I've never used it, because I need the limited 1000 queries to the Google API for other things.

    * = I know you said ten not five - the tool on my site has a 5 url limit.

Is your site new? Did they index a placeholder page, before your site went up? If not, then that does not sound good.

I can't seem to add any urls with your tool. some weird pop up window comes up but there's no submit or anything.

Someone else reported this problem. It's off-topic, but can you tell me what browser you use, and your screen resolution, please? It would help me fix it if you could tell me those details.

In case anyone is interested, this issue has been fixed - the DHTML popup system has been replaced with a more sane interface.

I think it uses the API, I notice similar differences in the results on the DP tracker too.

I dont think there is a good alternative to manual checking, if it's any help i set the SE to 100 results, hit F3 and enter the domain im looking for. If it's not found hit [space] then [end] and click for the next page of results.

Using this method I can search the top 1000 results in less than a minute.

(this is using mozilla im not sure of the shortcuts in anything else)
