first you need to be sure whether your domain worth thousands of dollar.sometime you think yr domain worth thousands $ but you can be wrong and domain worth no more than high XX get professional apprise at sedo, godaddy etc..then you will have your price and then sold to flippa and other auction domain houses.
Do not waste any money on professional appraisals. Professional domainers do not have much respect for such appraisals. And nobody who buys a domain cares that you have a certificate from someone they've never heard of. There is no short answer about how to sell domains for high prices. I've spent the last year working full time managing thousands of domains, quite a few of which have sold for $xxxx. And, like most domainers who entered the industry recently, I can tell you it isn't easy. Feel free to PM me to discuss.
Look at domains and sites that have sold on auctions or flipping sites. Look at the words in the domain. A domain with a generic word for a hot new product is also a good bet. The domain is usually nothing without SEO if it's EMD or brand building if it's more unique.
Did you read previous news from CNN last few days? One chinese bought mispell domain name of American to Americian.com and it become few thousand now while he only get it with $100. You can buy those misspell domain name as well and wait to earn big bulk .
It would be great if it was so easy. A domain is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. You make more selling domains to business rather than to other domainers, domainers always need to make a profit. A business wants to build a brand.
Appraisals are worth nothing.. I've had situations where my domain was appraised X.XXX but only got XX and the other way around. Just a matter of finding the right buyer
It might be possible to buy shares in premium domains like bling.com etc, Im looking to sell shares in my .me domain: Sexe.me "sexe=sex in French" I believe I could sell it for 1 million euro to a Canadian (french is main language) or French speaking company in the future, based on meet.me selling for 450,000 USD in 2011. PM me for details if interested.
go to godaddy domain market or at namecheap.. you'll find expired domains names with great pr's and backlinks.
search the drop lists for a quality domains scheduled to be dropped soon and try to reregister or drop-catch them
That's a million dollar question LOL. You can : - develop it to a website that generates revenue, or - read more on domaining articles
If you find keyword exact search domain with high PR and good ammount of backlinks for resonable price on GoDaddy auctions, than you maybe can sell then for good price on Flippa.
