How to find top 100 keywords from list of thousands?

    Hi,

I have a list of about 100,000 keywords that all *directly* relate to services on my website. I am interested in setting up an advertising campaign with Google Adwords (as I currently have a $100 adwords voucher in my new account). I would just like to note this is my first real adwords campaign (I have done a small one unsuccessfully before).

Each keyword is a different model number of the mobile devices that our system supports, and therefore there are thousands of them. i.e. I would have each Blackberry model number that we support with our keywords surrounding them in different orders, therefore contributing to the huge number of combinations, and therefore, keywords.

Is there any way of a) using the whole list of keywords for my campaign or b) is there a script that can scrape the whole list (in Excel or .txt format) for the top 100 performing keywords on Google from the list.

I have seen systems that can do this for a max of 500 keywords (like the paid Wordtracker tool) but none that can do 100,000. I am happy to process it in groups, so even if there is a system out there that can do this for 10,000 at a time, I can run it 10 times, and then consolidate the information and run it a final time.

    Thanks for your help!

Hi, thanks for your response but I believe it only supports up to 100 keywords at a time. Any other suggestions?

AdGooroo claims to have a large database, featuring both WordTracker and the AdWords keyword tool. There are also many other paid tools with long keyword lists.

But either way I guess that it isn't worth the high cost, since no one can tell you which keywords are profitable (it depends on too many factors, and the tools don't see the full picture).

Perhaps the better ROI will come from running a bunch of modified broad keywords, with certain patterns - clustered to tight ad groups. Ad Group example:

    +Blackberry 957 +applications
    +applications +for +Blackberry 957

The model ID (the word "957") will vary between search terms, while "Blackberry" and "applications" will stick.
Start at small scale and see what comes up (keywords tab --> "see search terms" button)
