Depends what you start off with. If it's a new site, it might be too much but if you already have 3K, adding 3K won't be an issue IMO.
Ive been optimizing this site for almost 3 mons now....it used rank good in google, but now it didnt, currently it was doing fine in msn n yahoo... here the url : http://www.proadultoutsourcing.com/ im trying to get some similar page that i can link to but when i do a search in google with "related:www.proadultoutsourcing.com" but nothing appears so. So i try look for sites that has the same keyword that Im using and link to it.. Ive done this link building for a quite sometime now, togehter with updating my content every now n then. But still, i not doing good in google Can anybody give some suggestion:
I haven't been using any of these tools before, I was just typing the keywords manually. I'll give them a try.
So, it's more of a proportional thing, then? 3,000 new links wouldn't make much of a difference to, say, Yahoo, but a smaller site (like mine, with 164 to the main page) could wind up being damaged.
do not rely on a "push button" software. Creating backlinks cannot be establish in an instant. You might fall on fake backlinks.
I'm pretty sure the algorithms have changed a lot in the six years since this was written, so I'm not sure if these links would still have the same definition of quality.
